Acting for TV and Film
In this class we will cover specific acting techniques for screen, with both devising short scenes to a brief and script work.
We will look at film and TV audition techniques, with special emphasis on cold readings, improvisation, characterisation, listening and reacting skills and the format of TV and film auditions, and how they differ to those for the stage.
Learn how to create a piece for a show-reel and take part in mock-auditions, where we also offer advice about the next steps within the industry.
Dance Technique is the root of dance training. In this class, Dancers will increase and develop their dancing skills. It’s so important for dancers to continue to sharpen their technical skills because it will translate into their performance of varied choreography. Good technique will ensure a dancer’s longevity, prevent injuries, build strength and flexibility, and refine movement quality.
All of which provide technically skilled dancers with the ability to dance using correct body placement and alignment and beautiful lines. Through dance, students learn teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills. This class is a great way of taking a dancer to the next level. In this class we will have guest teachers from the West End and established choreographers to keep the children learning from different industry professionals.
Classes at Harlequins are paid monthly by direct debit. Fees are calculated for the 37 weeks of the year that we deliver classes and divided into 12 equal monthly payments
